30 1 1 Inst allation Instruction 1 1.1. Select The Best Location INDOOR UNIT • Do not install the unit in excessive oil fume ar ea such as kitchen, workshop and etc. • There should not be an y heat source or steam near the unit. • There should not be any ob stacles blocking the air circulation.
31 1 1.3. Indoor Unit 1 1.3.1. HOW TO FIX INST ALLA TION PLA TE The mounting wall is strong and solid enough to preve nt it from the vibration. The centre of installation plate should be at more than 450 mm at right and left of the wall. The distance from installation plate edge to ceiling should more than 67 mm.

34 1 1.4. Out door Unit 1 1.4.1. INST ALL THE OUTDOOR UNIT • After selecting the best location, st art installation according to Indoor/Outdoor Unit Installation Diagram. 1. Fix the unit on concrete or rigid frame firmly and horizontally by bolt nut (ø10 mm).
35 1 1.4.3. EV ACUA TION OF THE EQUIPMENT WHEN INST ALLING AN AIR CONDITIONER, BE SURE TO EV ACUA TE THE AIR INSIDE THE INDOOR UNIT AND PIPES in the following procedure . 1. Connect a charging hose with a push pin to the Low side of a charging set and the service port of the 3-way valve.

Cable connection to the power supply through knife switch (Disconnecting means). • C onnect the approved polychloroprene sheathed power supply cable (3 x 1.5 mm 2 ), type designation 245 IEC 57 or heavier cord to the terminal board, and c onnect the other end of the cable to knife switch (Disconnecting means).
37 12 Operation Control 12.1. Basic Function Inverter control, which equipped with a mi crocomputer in determining the most suitable operating mode as time passes, automatically adjusts output power for maximum comfort always.
38 12.1.5. Automatic Operation • This mode can be set using remote control and the operation is decided by re mote control setting temperature, remote control operation mode, indoo r intake air temperature and outdoor air temperature.
39 [Heating] • According to indoor pipe te mperature, automatic heating fa n speed is determined as follows. B. Feedback control • Immediately after the fan motor started, feedback control is performed once every second.
40 2. Manual vertical airfl ow direction can be set using remote cont rol; the angles of the vane are as stated above and the po sitio ns of the vane are as Figure 2 below . Whe n the air conditioner is stopped u sing remote control, the vane will shift to close position.
41 2. When quiet operation is stopped, operation is shifted to normal operation with previous setting. 3. When fan speed is changed, qui et operation is shifted to quiet operation of the new fan speed. 4. When operation mode is changed, qui et operation is shifted to quiet operation of the new mode, expect fan only mode.
42 12.10. Indication Panel Note: • If POWER LED is blinking, the possible op eration of the unit are Hot S tart, during Deice o peration, operation mode judgment, o r ON timer sampling. • If Timer LED is blinking, there is an abnormality operation occurs.
43 c. Patrol operation disable • T o disable the Patrol Operation during unit start (default) with “OFF /ON” button, press “Patrol” button and hold for 5 second s, then release. • T o disable the Patrol Operation, press “Patrol” button and hold for 15 seconds, then release.
44 e. Indicator • When Patrol operation starts, Patrol Sensor indicator ON. • When e-ion operati on starts based on dirtiness level, e-ion indicator ON. g. T imer Co ntrol • When ON timer activates when unit stop s, previous operation resumes without Patro l operation.
45 C. Control Content a. Indoor fan cont rol • During any operation mode combines with e-ion operation, fan speed follows resp ective operation mode. • During e-ion individu al operation - only Auto Fan S pe ed and no Powerful opera tion is allowed.
46 Error Reset Method • Press “OFF/ON” button to OFF the operation. • Press AUTO OFF/ON button at indoor unit to OFF the operation. • OFF T imer activates. • Press “e-ion” button during e-ion individual mode. • Power supply reset. iii.
47 13 Protection Control 13.1. Protection Control For All Operations 13.1.1. Restart Control (T ime Delay Safety Control) • The Compressor will not turn on within 3 minute s from the mome nt operation stops, although the unit is turned on again by pressing OFF/ON button at remote control within this period.
48 13.1.5. Compressor Overheating Prevention Control • Instructed frequency for compressor ope ration will be regulated by compressor discharge temp erature. The changes of frequency are as below . • If compressor d ischarge temperature exceeds 1 10 q C, compressor will be stop ped, occurs 4 times per 20 minutes, time r LED will be blinking.
49 13.1.9. Low Frequency Protection Control 2 • When all the below conditions compl y , the compressor freq uency will chang e to lower frequency . 13.
50 13.2.5. Dew Prevention Control 2 • T o prevent dew formation at indoor unit discharge area. • This control starts if all conditions continue for 20 minutes: - Operated with Cool ing or Soft Dry Mode. - Indoor intake temperature is between 25 q C and 29 q C.
51 14 Servicing Mode 14.1. Auto OFF/ON Button 1. AUTO OPERA TION MODE The Auto operation will be activated immediately on ce the Auto OFF/ON button is pressed. Th is operation can be used to operate air conditioner with limited function if remote control is mispla ced or malfunction.

53 15 T roubleshooting Guide 15.1. Refrigeration Cycle System In order to diagnose malfunctions, make sure that there are no electrical problems before inspecting the refrigeration cycle. Such problems include insufficient insulation, problem with the power source, malfuncti on of a compre ssor and a fa n.
