33 Recording and Playback : Basic Proc edures Rec ordin g and Pl ayback F or shooting, f ollow the steps below . 1 Select a filter according to light conditions .
34 Recording and Playback : Normal Recording REC ST AR T/ST OP button, RE C button on the handle or VTR b utton at the lens starts recording of video and sound on the P2 card. A clus ter of data that con sists of video and sound generated t hrough a shooting ac tion, together with such added inf or mation as meta data, is called a “clip”.

36 Recording and Playback : Loop Re cordi ng When two or mor e P2 card slots contain cards , this function allo ws the target P2 card to be s witched in order . Ev en when the free spac e of a P2 card is us ed up, this function continues recording while erasing e xisting data.

39 Recording and Playback : Re cordi ng Review Function Rec ordin g and Pl ayback When recording is paused, pressing the RET butto n automatically locates the last two sec onds of video just recorded, and the view finder provides video play back. After pla yback , the camera -recorder is again read y to start recording.
