1-10 Chapter 1: Hardware information 1.5 Connecting cables and devices There are various types of cable TV (CA TV) and antenna connections. Consult your dealer for the type of adaptor , splitter , A/B switch, or combiner that may be required when connecting the ASUS TV T uner Card/Box to devices.

ASUS TV Tuner Card/Box Chapter 2 Software information This chapter gives information on how to install device drivers and applications for the ASUS TV Tuner Card/Box.

2-12 Chapter 2: Software information 2.2.3 Navigating through the home page The home page has six multimedia functions (TV , Movies, Videos, Music, Pictures, Radio, Extras) and a configuration option (Settings) that you can select by pressing the up/down arrow of the remote controller or by using the mouse.
2-13 ASUS TV Tuner Card/Box 2.2.4 Using the player control panel When using a mouse, each multimedia screen has a player control at the bottom left corner of the display that allows control of the current function. The player controls correspond to the remote controller buttons.

2-15 ASUS TV Tuner Card/Box CLEV is a video enhancement technology from CyberLink that dynamically adjusts the brightness, contrast, and saturation if the movie you are watching contains scenes that are too dark or bright. Options other than Original require more system resources to run.

2-17 ASUS TV Tuner Card/Box TV player control buttons When you watch TV , the following additional buttons appear on the player controls: Instant Replay By default, the instant replay function is enabled in PowerCinema.
2-18 Chapter 2: Software information Select the T eleT ext button to scroll through the T eleT ext, transparent (T eleT ext+TV), and Live TV pages. Press the Backspace button on the keyboard or the BACK button on the remote to return to the main TV page.
2-19 ASUS TV Tuner Card/Box Changing the TV signal If you have a digital cable TV subscription (for digital TV tuner card/box only), you must change the TV signal setting using the TV Settings window . T o change the signal setting: 1. From the TV screen, select Settings , then press OK .

2-24 Chapter 3: Software information Browsing for Videos T o change the order in which items are displayed, use the Sort By ... option. T o view videos in the My Videos folder on your computer , select My Videos . T o display videos that you have recently viewed, select Recent Videos .
