The display is capable of displaying mo st standard video signals, with VGA resolution supported up to 10 24x768 with a native resolution of 640x 480.

Getting to Know Your LCD D isplay 7 2.5 Adjusting the Viewing Angle When used on a desktop or other flat surface, you can tilt the LCD display back to achieve a more comfortable view- ing angle. Y ou can adjust the LCD di splay viewing angle from an upright position to a back-tilted angle of up to 7 degrees and a forward-tilted angle of 4 degrees.
Getting to Know Your LCD Display 8 ENGLISH 2.7 Built-in Speakers The LCD display comes with a pair of built-in stereo speakers located at the front of the unit. 2.8 Connecting the AC Power Adapter Y ou must use the 100-240 V AC/60W power ad apter that is included with the LCD display.
Adjusting Settings 9 3 Adjusting Settings This chapter explains the LCD display’ s On-Screen Display (OSD) menus. These are used to adjust settings related to picture and audio quality , as well as other features. Using the OSD you can adjust the contrast, brightness, OSD position, color temperature, stereo speaker volume, and other settings.

Adjusting Settings 13 3.5 T elevision Settings (Optional) 3.5.1 Setting Channels When connected to a television antenna or CA TV cable, the LCD display can automatically scan for available channels. Before scanning, make sure you have selected the correct TV signal source: air (broadcast) or CA TV (cable TV).
Adjusting Settings 14 ENGLISH 3.5.2 Using Quick Channels The quick channel function lets you assign ten channels that can be accessed by the quick channel keys on the remote control. Press PRG/CH / in the QUICK CH block on the remo te control to switch between assigned quick channels.
Adjusting Settings 15 3.5.3 Closed Captioning (North America Only) Closed captioning al lows you to view subtitles on your LCD display display if your broadcast or cable TV provider su pports this feature.
Adjusting Settings 16 ENGLISH Follow these steps to set up the ratings system on your LCD display. 1 Select the V -Chip o ption in the TV menu on the OSD and press VOL+ . 2 Y ou are prompted for the password. The default pass - word is four zeros (0000).
Adjusting Settings 17 To reset the pass word , press the VOL+ and the PRG key on the control panel simultaneously . Enter your new password at the prompt and wait five seconds. The new password will be saved. 3.6 VGA (PC) Settings The LCD display supports standard RGB VGA connections from a PC using the included 15-pin D-sub cable.
Adjusting Settings 18 ENGLISH 3.6.3 Adjusting Geometric Settings There are four settings related to VGA signal and screen position- ing that can be adjusted when the LCD display is in VGA mode: clock, phase, h-position, and v- position.
