BA TTERY CHARGER B U-200 Thank you for purchasing this product. Please read and understand these instructions for precise operation. Be sure to keep this instruction manual handy for future reference. Features This product is exclusively for use with Olympus NiMH rechargeable batteries.
2 Important Safety Precautions Certain symbols are used in the user's manual and on the display of this product to help protect users, their surroundings, and their property from possible injury or damage. Please familiarize yourself with the following definitions and meanings for each symbol before reading the precautions.
3 ENGLISH ● Do not use the batteries if you find something wrong with them such as deformity or leakage. It may cause overheating and explosion. ● Do not insert metal wires or similar objects. It may cause electric shock, overheating and fire. ● For safety, do not keep the charger within the reach of children.
4 ● Do not use the charger if the power plug is damaged or the plug is not completely connected to the outlet, otherwise it may cause a short circuit, fire or electric shock. ● Disconnect the power plug from the outlet when not charging. ● Make sure to hold the plug when removing the power plug from the outlet.
5 Notes on use (B-01E Rechargeable Battery) DANGER ● Be sure to use only with the B-20C/BU-100/BU-200/BU-300 battery charger. ● Do not insert the batteries with their and terminals reversed. ● Do not solder lead wires or terminals directly onto a battery or modify it.
6 CAUTION ● B-01E rechargeable batteries are exclusively for use with the Olympus CAMEDIA digital cameras. Do not use them in combination with other equipment. ● Do not subject batteries to strong shocks. ● Do not use charged and discharged batteries together.

8 How to insert the batteries You cannot charge the batteries when the positive and negative polarities on each battery do not correspond with those of the charger.
9 How to charge 1 Connect the power plug to the main unit's AC connector. 2 Insert the batteries as detailed in "How to insert the batteries" in the instructions. 3 Insert the power plug into an electrical outlet (AC100 - 240 V). The red charge indicator lights and begins charging the batteries.
10 Information regarding rechargeable batteries This charger is exclusively for use with Olympus CAMEDIA digital cameras. Never use in combination with other equipment. 1 Discharging ● Batteries self-discharge while they are not in use. Be sure to charge them regularly before use.
11 ENGLISH Maintenance In order not to damage the plastic, dirt should be removed using a dry and soft cloth. Using moistened cloth may cause malfunctions. Also, do not wipe with alcohol, thinner, benzine or cleanser which may delete the prints or cause the color fade.

18 Mise en place des batteries Une recharge des batteries est impossible si les pôles positifs et négatifs de chacune ne correspondent pas avec ceux du chargeur. Prenez soin d'insérer les batteries dans le bon sens comme illustré sur la figure.
19 FRANÇAIS Recharge 1 Branchez la fiche d'alimentation au connecteur secteur de l'unité principale. 2 Installez les batteries comme expliqué sous "Mise en place des batteries". 3 Soulever la fiche avec vos doigts comme indiqué sur la figure et la brancher sur la prise de secteur (CA 100 - 240 V).

21 FRANÇAIS Entretien Pour ne pas endommager le plastique, la saleté doit être retirée en utilisant un chiffon doux et sec. Ne pas utiliser un chiffon humidifié : cela risque de provoquer un disfonctionnement de l'appareil.

28 Einlegen der Batterien Das Laden der Batterien ist nicht möglich, wenn die Polarität der Batterien nicht mit der des Ladegeräts übereinstimmt. Sicherstellen, dass die Batterien richtig, wie in der Zeichnung dargestellt, eingelegt werden.
