12 3 U sing your de vice The Home scr een With the tap of the W acom pen on the pen operation area, the Home scr een enables you to quickly access Notes , Reader , C amera , V oice Memo , T ext Memo , Photo Album , Music Play er , Calcula tor , Dic tionary , S etting , T rash Bin , W eb Browser , Bubble Br eaker , and Sudoku .
13 Status bar This icon appears when a micr oSD card is installed. T ap S can now to scan the les in the microSD card . T ap Eject safely to safely r emove the microSD card . Disables or enables the touch sensor keys . Drag the slider to adjust the volume .
14 Using N otes Adding/E diting a note T o add/edit a note: 1. F rom the home screen, tap N otes . 2. Do any of the f ollowing: • T ap Add ne w note to creat e a new note. • T ap an existing note to edit it. TIP: Y ou may tap Sort in the command bar to sort the existing notes by name or dat e.
15 F unction bar Goes to the desired page . Saves the curren t note as a GIF format le to the micr oSD card. Install a microSD card in to your device bef ore using this function. T agging notes pro vides you with an easy way to sear ch your notes .
16 Managing a note T o manage a note, tap : • Lock/Unlock: Locks or unlocks a note. Bef ore using this function, tap Setting > Security > S et up to set up a password . • Merge ...: Merges notes in your device. • Rename: Changes the note ’ s name.
17 Using the Reader Reading an e -book NO TES: • Y our device suppor ts the e -books in PDF or ePub formats. • Some e -books or digital pub lications that y ou have pur chased or download ed online may c ontain Digital Rights Managemen t (DRM) protection.
18 F unction bar Views the table of c ontent, annotation list, bookmark list, remark list, or content per centage of the open e-book . When Con tent (%) is selected, drag the slider at the bottom of the scr een to go to the desired con tent percentage .
19 Using the camer a Y our device allows you t o capture images using the built-in camera. T o capture an image: 1. F rom the home screen, tap C amera . 2. T ap Zoom to selec t the zoom level . 3. T ap Capture to capture an image . 4. T ap S av e to save the captur ed image, or Close to abort it.
20 W riting a te xt memo Y our device allows you t o write shor t messages or reminders. T o create a te xt memo: 1. F rom the home screen, tap T ext Memo . 2. T ap Add new T ext Memo . 3. Use the virtual keyboard to key in the text. 4. When done , tap Save .
21 V iewing photos in Phot o Album Y ou can view the images captured from the built-in camera or via tapping Snapshot in the command bar . T o view a photo: 1. F rom the home screen, tap Phot o Album . 2. Pr ess the / key s to navigate thr ough the photo list, and press the En ter key to open the selected photo .

29 Using the digitiz er mode Y ou may set your device to Dig itizer Mode, which enables you t o draw images from your devic e to your scr een. • Under this mode, all other functions of the device are not a vailable. • Use this mode on a computer running on Windows®.
