Installa tion This refrigerator must be install ed in accordance with these Installati on Instructions for the certifi cations and the Norcold factory warranty to be in effec t. This appliance i s design c ertified under the latest editi on of ANSI Z21.
Leveling the Refrigerator The refrigerator has a moist ure reduction device lo- cated in the divi der panel. This device will inhibit mois - ture from accumul ating on the divider panel between the refrigerator and freezer doors. To insure proper operation of the refrigerator and the moisture reduction device, the refrigerator must be lev el.
Gas Device Safety Test After placing the refriger ator into operation, the gas safety devic e must be tested. The purpose of the gas safety device is to prev ent the escape of unburned gas from the burner if the burner flame is extinguished.

RELOCATING THE TRAVEL LATCHES 8. Remove both travel latches by taking out the two screws holdi ng each to the r efrigerator. Use the #2 Phil lips screwdriver. Remove the two s crews from each of the correspondi ng holes on the opposite side of the refrigerator.

Cleaning the Ex ter ior Surfac es of the Refriger a tor Clean the outer surface of the refrigerator wi th a damp sponge or c loth. Remove stubborn s tains using a mild solution of soap and warm water. The area surrounding the refrigerator, particularl y at the rear, needs to be cleaned often.
Checking Door Seals The door gaskets must seal c ompletely around the entire length of the door. This will ins ure cooling efficiency and prevent frost formation. Frequent frost formation or reduced cooling can be indi cations of air leaks . To check for proper door seal, lay a l ong narrow strip of paper between the gasket and the refrigerator.
Harmful gases. The gases in the c ooling system ar e flammable and can be harmful to your health if i nhaled. To prevent the release of these gases, never place undue s tresses on the cooling s ystem. Do not manipulate the refrigerator by grabbing the cooling s ystem.
Unauthorized or i mproper servicing of this refrigerator can caus e severe personal injury , property damage, or both. All requir ed service and mainte- nance must be performed by your dealer or a Norcold authoriz ed service center.
