Introd uction 4 1. Introduction The Nokia Wireless Headset (HS-36W ) can be used with compatible phones that support Bluetooth wire less technology . This allows you freedom to make and receive calls wh ile on the move or in the office. Read this user guide carefully before using the headset.

Get started The headset contains the following parts: • Indicator light (1) • V olume keys (2) • Charging socket (3) • Answer/end key (4) • Earhook (5) • Nokia Charger Adapte r cable (C A-7 1) (6) Before you can start to use the headset, you must charge the battery , and pair a compatible phone with the headset.
Get started 6 ■ Charge the battery The headset has an internal, nonremov able, rechargeable battery . Do not attempt to remove the ba ttery from the device, as you may damage the device. 1. Ensure that the No kia Charger Adap ter cable (CA-7 1) is connected to the charger that is supplied with the headset.

Avoid storage in high temperatures (a bove 60°C/134°F), such as in a hot vehicle or in direct sunlight. Storag e in high temperatures can degrade performance and reduce the battery life.
