Location and clearances If the stove is to be installed on a combustible f l oor, it must b e installed on sheet metal or a t i le. The oil d rip tray, 72636 ( not supplied) is a suitab l e substitute fo r either of these two p a ds. Maintain these minimum c learances to combustibl es (fig.
INSTALLATION DO NOT INSTAL L IN A ROOM USED FOR SLEEPING. The st ove must be firmly bolted to the floor wit h 1/4 inch lag bolts (fig . 8, p. 8). Minimum clearances to combustib les are as shown in figure 2, page 5. VENTING The chimney must be installe d in accordance wi th the manufac turer’s instructi ons.
There are two types of chimn e y connectors : A single wall chimney co nnector may be used for top connection : This connector must be 316 grade 26 gauge stainless steel o r 1 mm vitreous enamelled steel and with a 5" (12 7 mm) diameter. Secure the connector joints with 3 sheet met al screws.
FINISHING Mounting flue collar and blanking plate The stove is supplied with a connection flue at top. The flue collar is reversible (2 scre w s) so that the smoke exit can be done at rear or on t he top (f ig ur e 1 2 and fig u re 1 3, pa g e 9 ).

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Understanding your oil stove Furnace oil is f e d from t h e tank to the burner f l oor (A) where is it ignited by means of a f irestarter. The heat produ c ed by this flame brings the burner temperature to the required level to vaporize the fu el.
Shut down 1. T ur n the control knob to “0" setting. 2. Lift the saf ety lev er . 3. T ur n off the oil tank fuel supply valv e. The oil tank fuel sup ply valve should always be shut off when the oil stove is not in operation.
MAINTENANCE Seasonal maintenance WEEKLY - DESCALE Push and pull the de-scaling lever in and out as well a s turning slightly at the same time complet e ly two or three times.
