While the fireplace can be installed directly on the floor , a non-combustible hearth extension is required in front of the fireplace, that must not be built higher than the bottom of the fireplace to avoid air flow blockage.

Care must be taken not to bend or force them. Replace the three front tubes. Position the center edges of both baffles and bricks until they lie snugly together .

The bricks will be nearly all white and the glass mostly clear . The whiteness of the bricks and the cleanness of the glass are good indicators of your operat- ing efficiency .
