1 NAIM DAC – English 1 DAC Introduction The Naim DAC digital to analogue converter is a highly versatile product and we strongly recommend that you read this manual. You should also read the Statutory And Generic Information booklet packed with the product as it contains important mains power safety warnings.
2 NAIM DAC – English 2.2 S/PDIF Inputs The eight rear panel S/PDIF inputs are provided with connection for mat and socket options. These are listed in the following table: Input Optical Socket Coaxi.
3 NAIM DAC – English is installed by removing the link plug from the DAC rear panel Bur ndy socket and connecting the power supply using the appropriate Naim Bur ndy cable. The DAC’s internal power supply is still required when an exter nal supply is in use so it must remain connected to the mains supply and switched on.
