ENCORE DUET RECEIVER 5 1. Rackmounting the Receiver There are 2 options available for rackmounting the Encore DUET receiver: singly or side-by-side with another Encore Series receiver . a. Single mounting: Remove the receiver SIDE MOUNT CLIP (1) from each side of the receiver (as shown) and slide in the optional ERM-12 RACK EARS (9).
15 4. Microphone Operation a. T urn on the Link 2 by sliding the ON/ST ANDBY/OFF SWITCH (41) to the ST ANDBY position (transmitter on, audio muted) or the ON position (transmitter and audio both on). The LOW BA TTERY INDICA TOR LED (40) will give a single quick flash, indicating usable batter y strength.

13 1. Unscrew the BA TTERY COMP ARTMENT COVER (17) and remove, exposing the BA TTERY HOLDER (18). Insert a fresh 9V ALKALINE BA TTERY (19), observing the correct polarity as marked, and screw the cover back on to the microphone. Make sure the cover is screwed on completely .
9 WGT INSTRUMENT BODYP ACK TRANSMITTER 12 1. Snap open the BA TTERY COMP ARTMENT (30) and insert a fresh 9V BA TTERY (31), obser ving the correct polarity . Close the compar tment. The WGT is provided with a 3.5 mm LOCKING JACK (32) for connecting the INSTRUMENT CABLE (35).
