5 10. Never over fil l fuel tank. Fill ta nk to no more than ½ inch below bottom of filler n eck to prov ide space for fuel expan sion. 11. Replace gasoline c ap and tighten securely. 12. If gaso line is sp illed, wip e it off the eng ine and equipm ent.

7 SECTION 3: ASSEMBLING YOUR LAWN MOWER Removing Unit From Car ton • Remov e staples , break g lue on top fl aps or cut tap e at car ton end and peel along top flap to o pen carton. • Remov e loose parts if include d with uni t (i.e., operator' s manual, ha rdware pa ck etc.
8 • Insert post o f cable ties t hat are on lowe r handle into the ho les provid ed on the lo wer handle. The holes may be on th e inside or outside. Pu ll cable ties tight an d cut off the extra. 13 SECTION 7: SERVICING YOUR MOW ER Blade Care Periodi cally ins pect the blad e adapter- pulley as sembly for crack s, especi ally if yo u strike a foreig n object. Replace whe n necessary. • Discon nect spark pl ug wire from s park plug. • Turn mower on its side making sure that the air filter and the ca rburetor are up .
