Adjusting the power cord length You can customize the length of the power cord up to 3 feet so that it is the exact length you desire. To increase the length of the power cord: Grasp the power cord (not the power plug) and gently pull it away from the coffeemaker.
Brewing coffee Cleaning the coffeemaker before first use Follow the steps under “Adding water and ground coffee” and “Brewing coffee now,” (pages 5-6) but do not add coffee grounds.

For models URX20, URX23, URX30 and URX33: 1 ) If you are making four cups of coffee or fewer, press the 1-4 Cups button (models URX30 and URX33 only).
3.) While still pressing and holding the PRESS HOLD button, press and hold the Min. button until the clock displays the correct minute. 4.) Release the PRESS HOLD button. 5 ) Press the DELAY BREW button. The Delay Brew indicator will light. The delay timer is set and the coffeemaker will begin brewing the coffee at the time you selected.
