— 5 — DIN-Rail Mounting The alumi num DIN-Rail attachm ent plate shoul d already b e fixed to the back panel of E DS when you take it out of the box. If you need to reattach the DIN-Rail attachment plate to EDS, make sure the stiff metal spring is situated towards the top, as shown in the figures below.
— 6 — Wall Mounting (OPTIONAL) For some applications, you will find it conve ni ent to mount MOXA Et he rDevice Switch on the wall, as illustrated below. STEP 1 : Remove the alum inum DIN-R ail attachment plat e from MOXA EtherDevice Switc h’s rear panel, and then attach the wall mount plates , as shown in the diagram below.

— 8 — Grounding MOXA EtherDevice Switch Grounding and wire routing help limit the eff ects of noise due to el ectromagnetic interference (EMI). Run the ground connection from the grou nd screw t o the grounding surface prior to connecting devices.
