WIRING The P ositive ( + ) lead from your amplifier or receiv er should be connected to the RED ( + ) "INPUT" terminal, and the Negative ( — ) lead from your amplifier or receiv er should be connected to the BLA CK ( — ) "INPUT" terminal.
If the center speaker is located horizontally abo ve the TV , the tweeter should be angled up and if the speak er is located below the TV than the tweeter should point down.
T ry to follo w the formula as close as you can. Y ou can fine tune the placement by listening to a source with an image (such as a vocalist) centered betw een the speakers .
CENTER CHANNEL The Center channel speaker in an y multichannel system is the most impor tant speaker in the system. This speaker often produces more output than the left and right speakers combined.
If you mount the surrounds on the side w all behind the listening position, they can be aimed to wards each other or angled tow ards the back wall or the side w all surface directly behind them. By reflecting sound behind the listening position, you ma y increase the sense of envelopment in the sound.
If your Subw oofer has a PHASE s witch on its back panel, mov e it either from (+) to ( — ) or vice v ersa. If your Subw oofer does not ha ve a PHASE s witch, it takes a bit more work. Y ou will hav e to change the P ositive and Negativ e speaker inputs on the back of BO TH Main speakers.
This clipping distor tion occurs when the demands of the music are greater than the amplifier's av ailable power . It can occur at 20 watts with a small amplifier , or at 400 watts with a large amplifier .
