1 DLP Projector XD250U/XD280U/XD250U-ST Contr olling the pr ojector using a per sonal computer This projector can be controll ed by connecting a pe rsonal computer with RS-232C ter minal.
2 2. Contr ol command configuration The command consists o f the address code , function code, data code , AC K/NAK, and end code . The length of the com- mand varies among the fun ctions. 5 4. Command list 4.1 Operation commands The operat ion commands are used f or the basic oper ation setting of th is projector . The y may not be e xe cuted while the signals are changed.
6 Use the f ollowing comma nds to obtain ot her inf or mation. The PC sen ds the command w ithout attaching the data code to it. On the other hand, the pr ojector attaches to the receiv ed command its current operating sta tus as the data code and sen d it back to t he PC.

10 4.7 P assw ord loc k commands The pass word loc k commands control the pa ss word loc k. The pass word lock enab ling or disabling command is sent with a 4 to 8-digi t pass word comprised of an y figures 1 to 4 added to the end of the data code .
