EN - 7 Handle fuel with care; it is highly flammable. • Use an approv ed fuel container . • Never add fuel to a running engine or hot engine. • Fill fuel tank outdoors with extreme care. Neve r fill fuel tank indoors. • Never fill containers inside a v ehicle or on a t ruck or trailer bed with a plastic liner .
EN - 8 Do not oper ate in reverse unless absolutely necessary . Always back up slowly and look down and behind before and while backing. Do not c arry passengers. Disengage attachment drive when traveling from one work area to another . Disengage power t o the auger/impeller when snow thrower is transported or not in use.
EN - 9 OPERA TOR ZONE This unit is des igned to be operated by one person located in the operator zone (see Figure 3 ). Personal Pro tection Do not operate the equipment without wearing adequate winter garments. Av oid loose fitting clothing that can get caught in moving parts.

EN - 1 1 CONTROLS AND FEA TURES See Figure 4 for all controls and features locations. Engine Swi tch (Item 16) The engine switch has two positions: 1. OFF Engine will not start or run. 2. EN - 1 5 Adjust Auger Cable 1. Move engine switch (Item 16) to OFF position and remove key . Allow unit to cool. 2. Slide plastic s leeve up to auger co ntrol bar . 3. Insert Z-hook int o appropriate hole in adjustment brack et. When auger control bar is disengaged, there should minor slack in cable and no tension.
EN - 1 6 6. Position scraper assem bly under housing. See Figure 10 . • D-shaped cu tout must be on the left. • Edge must point down and forward. • Scraper assem bly bolt holes m ust align with square bolt holes in auger housing.
