GB - 13 Snow Clean-Out T ool (Figur e 8) T o clear th e chute: 1. Shut off the en gine. 2. W ait 10 seco nds and ma ke sure i mpeller bl ades have s topped rotating. 3. Remove the snow c lean-out too l (1) from the auger h ousing and u se it to rem ove the c log.
GB - 14 FILLING FUEL T ANK Fuel Shut-Off V alve IMPORT ANT : T he fuel shut- off valve MUST be in the closed p osition p rior to trans porting the unit. The fue l shut-off va lve has two position s: • Closed Position: Us e this p osition to s ervice, tran spo rt, or s tor e th e un it.
GB - 15 5. Set thr ottle to prop er starting pos ition. 6. Insert key into ig nition switc h and pus h into RUN position. DO NOT twist key after it is in serted. 7. Grasp sta rter handle an d pull rope out s lowly unti l it pull s harde r . Let rope rewind s lowly .

GB - 17 CHANGE ENGINE OIL Change oi l after first 2 hours of op eration, ther eafter change oil every 25 hours (mo re often if requi red). Refer to Engine M anual for detailed instr uctions. Run engi ne just p rior to c hanging o il. W a rm oil wil l flow more fr eely an d carry away more co ntamination.
GB - 18 RUNNERS Runners sho uld be adjusted as co ndi tio ns requir e (Fig ure 14). 1. Position unit on a har d, flat, s mooth lev el surfac e. 2. Adjus t runners b y inserti ng a spacer of desired thick ness und er center o f scraper blade, lo osen runner hardware, slide runn ers to fl at surface .

GB - 21 T RACTION DRIVE BELT REPLACEMEN T NOTE: Housing a nd frame m ust be tipped apart and attachment d rive belt r emoved fro m engine sheave in order to change traction dri ve belt (Fig ures 19 and 20). 1. Remove attachm ent driv e belt (See Remove Attachment Driv e Belt on page 19).

GB - 23 FRICTION DISC REPLACEMENT Remove Friction Disc (Fig ure 27): 1. Shut off engi ne, remove k ey , disconnec t spark plug wi re and allow unit to co ol compl etely . 2. T ip the un it up onto f ront housin g on a level surface. 3. Remove loc k pin s from wh eel axle s and remov e wheels .
GB - 24 6. Rein stall the beari ng cap /bu sh ing on the right side of fra me. 7. Rein stall roll pi ns in sh aft. Be sure pin s are center ed in sha ft. 8. Connect the pivot pin to the s peed sel ector arm with the hardware r emoved in step 6 of Remo ve Fricti on Dis c on page 23 9.
