99-8205 1 Disconnect the negative batter y terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 1 Unclip the bottom edge of the radio trim panel then lift up and out to remove . (Figure A) 2 TO Y OT A MA TRIX 2003-2008 PONTIA C VIBE 2003-2008 Remove (4) 10 MM bolts securing the factor y r adio.
99-8205 KIT ASSEMBL Y 2 Attach the pocket to the bac k of the ISO/DIN Faceplate (by holding the faceplate upside down and inserting the right edge of the pocket into place then pushing the rest of the pocket onto the lip) and mount with (2) #8X3/8” Phillips screws.
99-8205 KIT ASSEMBL Y 3 Slide the DIN cage into the Radio Housing and secure b y bending the metal locking tabs down. ( Figure E) 5 Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage and secure .
4 ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PRO VISION 99-8205 KIT ASSEMBL Y Attach the the pocket to the back of the ISO/DIN Faceplate (by holding the face- plate upside down and inserting the right edge of the pocket into place then push- ing the rest of the pock et onto the lip) and mount with (2) #8X3/8” Phillips screws.
5 ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PRO VISION 99-8205 KIT ASSEMBL Y Mount the ISO Brackets to the head unit with the screws supplied with the unit. ( Figure E) 5 Mount the rear support to the back of the pocket with (2) #8x3/8” Phillips screws. ( Figure D) 4 Slide the the head unit into the radio opening until the side clips engage .

8 FINAL A SSEMBL Y 1 Locate the factor y wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
