95-7313 1 Disconnect the negative batter y terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 1 Remove (2) Phillips screws from under the instrument cluster . 2 2001-2006 HYUND AI ELANTRA Remove ashtray then remo ve (2) Phillips screws in ashtray ca vity .
95-7313 2 D A SH DIS A SSEMBL Y 2003-2008 HYUND AI TIBURON Disconnect the negative batter y terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 1 A Unclip and remove the radio trim panel starting with the bottom edge . (Figure A) 2 Remove (2) Phillips screws securing radio .
95-7313 3 Disconnect the negative batter y terminal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 1 Unclip and remove entire panel sur- rounding r adio . (Figure A) 2 2002-2005 HYUND AI SONA T A Remo ve (4) Phillips screws securing radio . 3 The rear support bar in the sub dash will need to be cut and removed for aftermarket radio clearance .
4 Disconnect the negative batter y ter- minal to prevent an accidental short circuit. 1 A Unclip and remove panel surround- ing shifter . (Figure A) 2 Remove (2) Phillips screws at bottom of panel surrounding radio and cli- mate control then unclip and remove entir e panel.
5 95-7313 Slide the appropriate bracket into the trim plate aligning the holes in the trim plate to the clips on the bracket. (Figure A) 1 A C Slide the DDIN radio unit into the trim plate bracket assembly and secure the unit to the kit using the screws supplied with the head unit.
6 95-7313 KIT A SSEMBL Y 1 Slide the stacked ISO DIN units into the trim plate bracket assembly and secure the unit to the kit using the scr ews supplied with the head unit. (Figure B) 2 ST A CKED ISO DIN HEAD UNIT PRO VISION A B Slide the appropriate bracket into the trim plate aligning the holes in the trim plate to the clips on the bracket.
7 FINAL A SSEMBL Y 1 Locate the factor y wiring harness in the dash and make the connection as shown. Metra recomends using the proper mating adapter and making the connections as shown. (Isolate and individually tape off the ends of any unused wires to prevent electrical short circuit.
