1. Unclip panel below steering column and remove. (Figure A) 2. Remove (4) Phillips screws from metal brace below steering column and remove. (Figure A) 3. Looking at the side of the radio/climate control panel from underneath the steering column opening, remove (1) 10 mm bolt from the side of the radio chassis.
4 99-7519B Dash Disassembly 5. Remove the rubber mat inside of the cup holder then remove the (1) Phillips screw revealed. (Figure D) 6. Unclip, unplug and remove the entire center console. (Figure E) 7. Remove the (2) Phillips screws securing the side panels from each side of the radio/climate control panel.
5 99-7519B Dash Disassembly 8. Carefully remove the side panels from each side of the radio/climate control panel by pulling straight back towards the rear of the car . (Figure G) 9. Remove (2) Phillips screws, (1) on each side, from the side of the radio/climate control panel.
1. T urn the radio/c limate control panel over and remove the (4) screws that hold the climate control to the bezel, then remove the climate control. (Figure J) Continue on to kit preperation 6 Dash D.
7 Kit preparation 99-7519B 1. Attach the (4) Panel Clips to the posts on the back of the radio housing. (Figure A) Continue on to kit assembly Kit preparation (Figure A).
Kit Assembly 99-7519B 8 DIN head unit provision (Figure A) (Figure B) (Figure C) 1. Locate the factor y wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the nega tive batter y terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
Kit Assembly 99-7519B 9 DIN head unit provision (Figure D) 5. Slide the aftermarket head unit into the cage and secure. (Figure D) 6. Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly .
Kit Assembly 99-7519B 10 ISO DIN head unit provision (Figure A) (Figure B) (Figure C) 1. Locate the factor y wiring harness in the dash. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapter from Metra or AXXESS. Re-connect the nega tive batter y terminal and test the unit for proper operation.
Kit Assembly 99-7519B 11 ISO DIN head unit provision (Figure D) 5. Slide the head unit into the radio opening until the side clips engage. (Figure D) 6. Snap the trim plate into the radio housing. (Figure D ) 7. Reassemble dash in reverse order of disassembly .
