4 POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance has a polarized plug, (one b lade is wider than the other). T o reduce the risk of electr ic shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polar ized outlet only one w a y . If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, re verse the plug.

7 2 . Fill the W ater T ank with fresh water up to the ‘MAX’ line, and fit back into the Base (do wn and in) until it “snaps” into place, see Figure 4. FIGURE 4 3. Lift Lid by pulling out on the Le v er . T op will pop up. Push back so Lid is in fully raised position, see Figure 5.

9 8. Place a 32-ounce container below the Drip Spout to collect the w ater . 9. Press the P ower Light/Indicator Button to turn power on, then simultaneously press the 5-ounce and 8-ounce Serving Buttons, see Figure 8. The water from the W ater T ank will cycle through the One:One.
6. Place the P od Holder inside the P od Chamber . See Figure 6. 7. Place one Melitta ® ja v apod ™ or Cooper’ s ® teapod ™ inside the P od Holder . Press lightly on the jav apod ™ or teapod ™ to make sure it sits e v enly inside the P od Holder .
11 11. Press the desired Ser ving Button: f or either a 5-ounce ser ving or an 8-ounce ser ving. The machine will begin the brewing process. At the beginning of the brewing cycle, a small amount of w ater is dispersed to saturate the pod to ensure full e xtraction.

13 4. Remov e the Dr ip T ra y and Overflo w T ray , see Figure 12. 5. Remov e the W ater T ank from the unit. Clean the W ater T ank, P od Holder , P od Chamber , Drip Spout, Dr ip T ra y and Overflo w T ra y with hot water . If necessar y , use a small amount of dish soap .

Check the f ollowing: • the pod is placed properly in th e P od Holder .
15 6. The indicator light keeps flashing at rapid intervals. Check the f ollowing: • the W ater T ank must be inser ted properly inside the appliance. • there must be enough w ater in the W ater T ank. Fill the Water T ank to the ‘MAX’ fill line .
