3 INTRODUCTION The PC Camera is an ex c ell ent beginner's tool for t el escope imaging. Y ou will be able to tak e still images or video of bright cel estial objects, such as the Moon and planets.

8 • T T o o c c a a p p t t u u r r e e v v i i d d e e o o : 1 Select the “Fil e” menu and choose “Set Captur e File.” See Fig. 15. Give your fil e a name (e.g., “Moon,” “V enus,” “Bird,” “T elephone Pol e,” etc.). Select a f older in which to save your images.

Your camera has been optimized for astronomical photos and does not record any audio.
10 A A D D V V A A N N C C E E D D T T I I P P S S Use the “Video Captur e Filter” to change the PC Camera's settings. The “Exposur e Control ” slider is the most useful contr ol for capturing images. The slider will allow y ou to contr ol the length of an image exposur e.
