16 Rope Guide • Install rope guide into side of upper handle and secure with 1/4-20 locknut. • Hold brake yoke down to upper handle and slowly pull out the starter rope until the rope will slip into loop of the rope guide.
10 2 1 4 6 3 5 15 Engine Zone Control Cable • Hook offset end of cable into the brake arm of the engine. • Align the tapered end of the plastic fi tting with hole in the mounting bracket and push in until fi tting snaps into place. • Route cable under the cross bar portion of lower handle.
14 Brake Y oke • Position upstop bracket on left inside of upper handle and secure with hex washer head screw . • Install the control bar above the up-stop bracket, into the hole located on the left side of upper handle, with the hole in fl at- tened part of control bar on the right side.
12 3 4 1 2 ASSEMBLING Handle • The handle can be assembled in “HIGH” or “LOW” position depending on how the lower handle is installed on the handle bracket pins. • T o install the lower handle on the handle mounting pins, squeeze the bottom ends toward each other until the handle will slip onto the mounting pins.
