6 COOKTOP USE Cookto p/Ove n T emper atur e Contr ols Electric ign iters au tomatically light the surfac e bur ners when control knobs are turned t o LITE. Before setting a control knob, p lace filled cookw ar e on th e grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or without cookware on th e grate.
7 4. Clean clogged burner ports with a straight pin as shown. Do not enlarge or distort the port . Do not use a woode n toothpick. If the bur ner needs to b e adjusted, contact a trained repa ir specialis t. 5. Replace th e burner ca p onto the bur ner base, making sure the ali gnment pins are properly ali gned with the bur ner cap.
8 ELECTR ONIC OV EN CONTR OL Display When power i s first supp lied to t he appliance, a flashin g time will appear on the display . Press CANCEL to cle ar flashing time from the dis play . If flashin g time appears, a power fa ilure has occurred. Press CANCEL and reset th e Clock if needed.
9 Control Lock The Contr ol Lock functi on blocks the contr ol panel pa ds to avoid unintended use of cook functions. When the control is lo cked, only the CL OCK set, OVEN LIGHT and KITCHEN TIMER pad s will function. T o Lock/Unlock Contr ol: Be for e locking, make s ure the cook functions are off.

11 Broiling and Custom Broiling BROILER The br oiler is located below the oven door . The broiler pan and grid roll out for easy access. Always broil with the broiler drawer and oven door closed. ■ T o avoid damage to the br oiler , do not step on or apply weight to the br oiler door while it is open.
12 RANGE CARE Remo ving the Ov en Bottom The oven bottom can be removed for st andard cleaning of the oven. Before cleaning, make sure the ove n is completely cool. To R e m o v e : 1. Remove the ove n racks. 2. Place f ingers in th e slots in th e bottom p anel.
