2 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Unpack the Refriger ator Remove packaging mat erials. Do not use sharp ins truments, rubbing alcohol , flammable fl uids, or abrasi ve cleaners to remove tape or glue. Th ese products can damage the surface of your refriger ator .
3 Location Requirements T o ensure proper ventilation for your refrigerator , allow for ¹⁄₂ " (1.25 cm) of space on each side and at the top . Allow for 1" (2.54 cm) of sp ace behind th e refrig erator . If your refrigerator has an ice maker , allow extr a space at the b ack for the water li ne connecti ons.
4 W ater Pr essure A cold water suppl y with water p ressu re of bet ween 30 and 120 psi (20 7 and 827 kPa) is required to operate t he water dispenser an d ice maker . If you have questions about you r water pressure, call a li censed, qualifie d plumbe r .
5 NOTE : Tighte n the nut by h and. Then tighten it w ith a wrench two mor e turns. Do not overtighten. 4. T ur n sh utof f valv e ON. 5. Check fo r leaks. Ti ghten any nut s or connec tions (i ncluding connection s at the valve ) that leak. Style 3 1.

8 The Dispenser Light When you use the disp enser , the light will automa tically tu rn on. If you want t he l ight to b e on cont inu ously , you may choo se ei ther ON or DIM. The displ ay screen in dicates w hich mode is select ed. ON: Press LIGHT to turn the dispe nser lig ht on.
9 Changing the W ater Filter 1. Press the eject butto n to release th e filter from the b ase grille. 2. Pull th e filt er strai ght out . 3. T urn the cap cou nterclockwise to r emove it from the filter . IMPORT ANT : Do no t discard the c ap. It is part of your refrigerator .
