3 I N S T A L L A T I O N I N S T R U C T I O N S U n p a c k t h e R e f r i g e r a t o r R em o v e t h e Pa ck ag i ng Remove tape an d glue residue from su rfaces before turning on the r efrigerator . Rub a small amou nt of liquid dish soap and dry .
4 E l e c t r i c a l R e q u i r e m e n ts important to make sure you h ave the prope r electrical connection. R ec o mm e nd e d G r o un d i ng M et h o d A 115 V olt, 60 Hz., AC only 15- or 20-amp fused, grounded electrical supply is r equired. It is r ecommended that a separate circ uit serving only your refrigerator be provided.
5 5. Using a grounded drill, drill a ¼” hole in the cold water pipe you have selected. 6. clamp. Be sure the outl et end is solidly in the ¼ " drilled hole in the water pi pe and that the w asher is under the pipe clamp. Tighten the packing nut.
6 5. Using an a d justa bl e wrenc h , h o ld t h e nu t on t h e p l astic water line to keep it from moving. Then, with a s econd wr ench turn the compr ession nut on the copper tubing counter clockwise to completely tighten. Do not overtighten. 6. Check c onnection by pulling on c opper t ubing.
7 A d j u s t t h e D o o r Depending on your model, your refrigerat or may have two ( Style 1 ) or four ( S tyle 2 ) adjustabl e rollers located at the base of the refrigerat or . If your refrigerator see ms unsteady or you want the door to close easier , adjust the re frigerator's tilt using the instructio ns below .
8 N o r m a l S o u n d s Y our new refrigerator may make sounds that your old one didn’ t make. Because the sounds ar e new to you, you might be concerned about them. Most of the n ew s ounds are normal. Hard sounds seem louder . The following d escribes t he kinds of sounds and what may be makin g them.
9 If the tempera ture is too warm or too cold in the r efrigerator or blocked before adjusting the contr ols. See “ Ensuring Proper Air Circulation. ” Press the freezer (+) t ouch pad repeatedly until “ OFF ” appears in the freezer display .
10 T emperature Alarm: An alarm will s ound r epeatedly if the fr eezer or r efrigerator compartment tem peratures exceed normal operating temperatures for a n hour or more. The tempera ture displays will a lter nately s h ow the current temperatures and the highest tem peratures th e compartments reached.

Remove the shelf /frame b y tilting it up at the f r ont and lifting it out of the shelf supports.
13 S ty l e 2 - L i ft - up - l i d D r aw e r T o remove the drawer: 1. Lift the lid. Pull the drawer out to its full extension. 2. Tilt up the fr ont of the drawer and pull it straight out. T o replace the drawer: 1. Push the metal glide rails to the r ear of the re frigerator .

Remove the retainer by lifting it up and pul lin g it stra ight out. 2. Replace the re tainer by sli d ing it in above the support and pushing it down until it stops.
15 5. Ther e is no need for routine condenser cleaning in normal home opera ting environm ents. If the environment is the home, the condense r should be cle aned every 2 to If you need to clean t he condenser: Remove the ba se gr ille. See “ Base Grille ” graphic or “ Base Grille ” section.
16 M ov i n g When you are moving your refrige rator to a new home, follow these s teps to pr ep are it for the move. 1. If your refrigerator has an automatic ice maker: ahead of time. Disconnect the water line fr om the back of th e refri gerator . to the OFF (up) position .
