7 FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION CA UTION: • Alwa ys be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged bef ore adjusting or checking function on the tool. Shaft lock CA UTION: • Ne ver actuate the shaft lock when the spindle is mo ving. The tool ma y be damaged.

Installing side grip (handle) CA UTION: • Alwa ys be sure that the side grip is installed securely bef ore operation. Screw the side grip securely on the position of the tool as shown in the figure.
9 T o tighten the lock nut, press the shaft lock firmly so that the spindle cannot re volve , then use the lock nut wrench and securely tighten clockwise . T o remove the wheel, f ollow the installation procedure in re verse. Installing or removing fle x wheel (optional accessory) W ARNING: • Alwa ys use supplied guard when flex wheel is on tool.
10 OPERA TION W ARNING: • It should ne ver be necessar y to f orce the tool. The weight of the tool applies adequate pressure. F orcing and e xcessive pressure could cause dangerous wheel breakage. • AL W A YS replace wheel if tool is dropped while grinding.
11 Unplug tool and place it upside down allowing easy access to spindle. Remo ve any accessories on spindle. Mount ure- thane washer then thread wire cup brush onto spindle and tighten with supplied wrench. When using brush, av oid applying too much pressure which causes ov er bending of wires, leading to premature breakage .
