7 Installing or remo ving drill bit T o install the bit , place it in th e chuck as f ar as it wi ll go . Tighten the chu ck b y hand. Pl ace the chuck ke y in each of the three holes and tighten c lockwise . Be sure to tig hten all three chu ck holes e venly .
8 OPERA TION Holding tool When drilling a large ho le with a hole saw , etc., the side grip (auxiliary handle) should be used as a br ace to maintain saf e control of the too l. Grasp the rear hand le and the front gr ip fir mly when s tar ting or stoppi ng the tool, since ther e is an initial and fina l reaction.
