Overview Magellan V antagePoin t™ software a llows you to view , edit and store color maps on a personal computer , with zoom and pan function s for easy map browsing. Use “Planner” to map a route for an upcoming hike or ge ocaching trip, then transfer the route to your T riton® GPS.
Inst allation Magellan V antag ePoint™ Soft ware is available from http://www .magellangps.co m/ V antagePoint/ for download. Close all applications including your web browser before starti ng installation of V ant agePoint. Follow the instructions to inst all: Click onto MVP .

File Menu The File Menu allows you to open maps and othe r files or Print the map win dow’ s current display . T o open the File Menu , click on the VP icon and select one of the following: Open – Add maps or user data files to V antagePoint from your GPS unit, SD Programmer , or your PC hard drive.
The Results are listed in the Addresses t ab for addresses, in the POIs tab if POIs, and in the User Data tab if Journal items like waypoint s, routes, track, or geocaches. These ta bs are located at the bottom of Search dialog. Click on the obje ct to view it in the Map window .
