3 User Guide (English) Introduction The BX5 D2 was designed and tested by vetera n audio engineers to meet your needs in a studio monitoring environment. I t is focused on t he functional goal of delivering pure, original sound without any additional coloration.
4 Network and Power Am plifiers: The active crossover netwo rk and power amplifiers for the BX5 D2 are specially designed for its woo fer and tweeter. The net work properly distributes low, mid, and high frequencies to the driver component s in order to reduce distortion and loss of sound, thus achieving a naturally balanced sound.
5 Front Panel The front panel houses the Pow er LED, which indicates whether the speakers (amplifier) power is on or off. 1. Power LED 2. HF Driver (tweeter) 3. LF Driver (woofer) Installation For optimal performance of the BX5 D2, please read the following t horoughly and carefully prior to installation.
6 XLR Balanced Connection Assure that the power switch of the BX5 D2 is turned off and that the volume control of the BX5 D2 is turned down to a minimum. Conne ct the male end of an XLR balanced cable to the balanced input of the BX5 D2 (refer to t he following diagram for balanced connection).
