Pool chemicals can damage the dehumidifier . 3. Do not use solvents or cleaners on or near the circuit board.
OVERVIEW The Aprilaire ® Dehumidifier is designed to control humidity inside the whole home. The dehumidifier uses a dew point calculation to control the humid ity based on the drynes s set point on the dehumidi fier contr ol. An opti onal Model 70 Living Space Contro l or third- party control can be used in place of the onboar d control.

CONVERTIBLE INST ALLA TION In this installation the dehumidifier controls humidity in both the whole- home and a spot locatio n. The dehu midif ier will dehumidify the whole home as the first priority , switching to the spot location after the whole-home dehumidification need has been met.

THIRD-P ARTY CONTROL WIRING & DIP SWITCH CONFIGURATION An externa l thermos tat with dehum idifi er connect ions can be used as an ON/ OFF dehumi difier control. In this configura tion, the third-par ty control initiates dehumidification and overrides the on-board dehumidifier control logic.
SYSTEM CHECKOUT DEHUMIDIFICATION 1. Check the wiring to the HVAC equipment and any accessories if applicable. 2. Plug unit in and turn on/off switch to ON. 3. Rotate the main control knob clockwise to the TEST position. 4. If set up cor rectl y , the dehumidi fier blow er will turn on and the dehumidi fier damp er output will turn on.
