1 Warnings and Cautions Caution: Use the radar at your own ris k. Your radar was de signed for use as a navigation aid. It s hould not be used for purposes that re- quire precise measurements of direct ion, distance, topography or location.
2 RIM 300 Installation The RIM 300 will replac e the power cable that ca me with your display unit. Your RIM 300 has th ree cables branching ou t from the cable p lug, which include: radar data cable, display unit power cable and NMEA 2000 power cable.
3 the red and black wir es to power your display u nit. Attach the red wir e (+) to an accessory sw itch or power bus con nected to a 12-volt battery. Connect the black grou nd wire (–) to the battery n egative post. Tip If possible, keep th e power cable away from other boat wiring, espe- cially the en gine's wires.
