7 28 Unexpected response to dir ect source keys or power up commands If the KOLEKTOR behaves in an unexpected way during power up, check the values set in your user options. Certain user options may interfere with your r equired choice so it is a good idea to r ead the section User options , page 24, befor e changing them.

5 26 Factory default settings The KOLEKTOR Preamplifier pr ovides a Reset to Factory Defaults option which allows you to r eset the unit back to its factory settings. This r estores the user options to their initial values, and resets the inputs to their initial sour ce names.
4 Interface module This attention to detail also applies to the RS232 module. Ther e is no electrical connection between the RS232 ports and the internal circuitry . This pr events any noise from the external contr olling system entering the audio cir cuitry .

7 18 Recor ding a sour ce The KOLEKTOR allows you to r ecord fr om any source to the tape output, and lock the sour ce so that you cannot accidentally select another source while r ecording.
