Intr oduction Over thirty years ago Linn was born out of a simple truth: the more accurately a system repr oduces sound, the greater the impact it will have on the listener . The AKURA TE range of power amplifiers have been designed to offer true flexibility when building or upgrading a stereo or multi-channel system.
Featur e s CHAKRA amplifier technology All AKURA TE power amplifiers feature Linn’ s proprietary CHAKRA technology . The CHAKRA topology uses an array of large bi-polar transistors as 'boosters' around a monolithic (single chip) amplifier IC (integrate circuit).
Installation Impor tant: It is strongly r ecommended that your AKURA TE amplifier is installed and configured by an authorised Linn r etailer . Unpacking Each AKURA TE power amplifier is supplied with.
Connecting Connecting to the mains supply The unit can be connected to any worldwide mains voltage with no adjustment. It incorporates Automatic V oltage Selection (AVS) and the power supply automatically adjusts for the incoming mains supply . This unit must be earthed.

CHANNEL 2 AUDIO OUT M U T E GAIN CHANNEL 2 AUDI O IN PUSH CHANNEL 2 SPEAKER Balanced interconnect cable For the balanced audio connection, we recommend the use of the lead supplied or an interconnect lead with its connections configur ed to match with the AKURA TE amplifier connections as shown below .
Speaker ter minals The binding post terminals can be used as sockets for the connection of 4 mm banana plugs or can be used as binding posts for the connection of bare wir es or spade terminated cable.
Operation General The blue LED on the front panel will be dim when power is first applied and will remain dimmed when the amplifier is in standby mode. Signal sensing When an input signal is detected, the AKURA TE amplifier is enabled and the LED brightens.
