6 Chapter 1 Getting Started  Connect your Time Capsule t o your Ethernet network. Wireless-equipped Macintosh, Windows XP , or Windows Vista computers can then hav e access to an entire netw ork without being connected by a cable.  Connect a suppor ted USB printer t o your Time Capsule.

22 Chapter 3 Setting Up Your Time Capsule Using AirP or t Utility T o set up and configure y our Time Capsule, use the setup assistant in AirP or t Utilit y . AirP or t Utilit y is installed on your computer when y ou install the sof tware from the Time Capsule CD .

The AirP ort Utilit y setup assistant asks you questions about the type of network you want to use and the services you want t o set up, and helps you enter the appropriat e settings.

The setup assistant guides y ou through the steps necessary to name your network, protect your netw ork with a password , and set other options.
