4 1. Introduction This is a wireless 11n USB Adapter that provid e s unsurpassed wireless perform ance for your Desktop PC or Notebook. It complies with IEEE 802.
5 2. Software Installation Note: The following installation was operated under Windows 7. (Procedures will be same for Windows Vista, XP and 2000 Operation System) Step1: Insert the Wireless USB adapter into the USB slot of your computer. The system will automatically find the device and search for its driver.
6 Step2: Insert Wireless USB Adapter Installation CD into CD-ROM drive then windo ws below will appear. Click Install Driver & Utility to begin device driver installation. Step3: Select the language for this installation from the choices belo w and click Nex t> to continue.
7 Step4: The InstallShield Wizard will install Wirele ss LAN Driver and Utility on your computer. For next step, click Next> to continue. Step5: Click In stall begin the installation.
8 Step6: Please wait for a while for installing process. Step7: After Wizard has finished the installing, choose “ Ye s, I want to restart my computer now” before you can use the utility.
9 To check if Wireless PCI card is p roperly installed, you can right-cli ck Computer Æ choose Properties Æ click Device Manager . [Configuring Wireless Ne twork] Step 1: Open the Wireless Utility and go to “ Available Net work ” tab, double-click the network which you want to connect or click “ Add to Profile ” button to continue.

12 3. Wireless LAN Utility The Wireless LAN Utility is an app lication that helps you to c onfigure the USB Wireless LAN adapter and monitor the link status and stat istics during the communication pro cess. 3.1 General In the “ General ”, you can immediately monitor the li nk status.
13 3.3 Available Network The “ Available Net work ” shows all Access Points, R outers or Adapters nearby when operating in Ad-Hoc mode. Click “ Refresh ” button to collect the SSID and Chann el in formation of all the wireless devices nearby.
