15 7532 Mounting Measuring range The usable measuring range depends on the si ze of the antenna, the reflectivity of the medium, the mounting location, and ev entual interference reflections. The following tables describ e the groups of media as well as the achiev able measuring range as a function of application and medi a group.

97 7532 Appendix 1 1.4 Function and system design 1 1.4.1 Measuring principle The 7500 RTG is a "downward-looking" me asuring system, op erating based on the time-of-flight method. It measures the di stance from the reference point (process connection) to the product surface.
