DECK MECHANISM ADJUSTMENT 4-13 Purpose:T o determine if the Mechanism is in the correct position, when a T ape is ejected. 1. Mechanism Alignment Position Check 1) T urn the Power S/W on and eject the Cassette by press- ing the Eject Button.
4-14 DECK MECHANISM ADJUSTMENT Purpose: T o insure smooth transport of the tape during each mode of operation. If the tape transport is abnormal, then check the torque as indicated by the chart below. 2. Preparation for Adjustment (T o set the Deck Mechanism of the loading state without inserting a cassette tape).
