17 Installation 3 Installation Installing the player Y ou can stand the player or mount on a wall . Assembling the player with stand Preparation 1. Connect the cables. Step 1 2. After connecting the cables, you can arrange the cable with cable holder as shown below .

19 Installation 3 Installation Mounting the player on a wall Y ou can mount the player on a wall . Pr epare screws, bracket and guide sheet (the rear page of install guide) supplied. Preparation 1. Y ou should drill some holes. A guide sheet (rear page of the install guide) is supplied to drill.

21 Installation 3 Installation Assembling the speaker Preparation Speaker P ole Base Scr ew Cabl e Cable Pole Base Speaker Screw 1. Attach the pole to the base , then secure the connection with a supplied screw . Step 1 2. Insert a speaker wire from the bottom of the base.
22 Installation Installation 3 4. Attach the speaker to the pole, then secure the connection with a supplied screw . Step 4 5. Connect the speaker wire to the terminal on the speaker . Make sure the wire marked black goes in to the terminal marked “–” (minus) and the other wire goes in to the terminal marked “+” (plus).
23 Installation 3 Installation Mounting the speakers on a wall Y ou can mount the speakers on a wall. Pr epare screws and brackets supplied. When you mount to a wall(concret e), use the wall plugs. Y ou should drill some holes (Diameter: 6 mm, Depth: more than 32 mm) for the mounting .

25 Installation 3 Installation Speaker Connection Wireless connection When you turn on the unit, subwoofer and wireless receiv er the connec tion will be completed automatically . When the connection is completed, you can see the icon on the display window .
26 Installation Installation 3 Attaching the speakers Connect speaker wires to the woofer . T o connect the cable to the woof er , press each plastic nger pad to open the connection terminal. Inser t the wir e and release the nger pad. Connect rear speaker wires to the wireless receiver .
27 Installation 3 Installation Connecting to Y our TV Make one of the following connections, depending on the capabilities of your existing equipment. • HDMI connection (page 27) • Video connection (page 29) NO TE • Depending on your T V and other equipment you wish to connect, there are various ways you could connect the player .
28 Installation Installation 3 NO TE • Changing the resolution when the connection has already been established may result in malfunctions. T o solve the problem, turn o the player and then turn it on again. • When the HDMI connection with HDCP is not veri ed, TV screen is changed to black screen.
29 Installation 3 Installation Video Connection Connect the VIDEO OUT jack on the player to the video in jack on the T V using a video cable. Y ou can hear the sound through the system ’ s speakers. 30 Installation Installation 3 Ant enna connection Connect the supplied antenna for listening t o the radio. Antenna Connection NO TE After connecting the FM wire antenna, keep it as horizontal as possible. Be sure to fully extend the FM wire ant enna.
31 Installation 3 Installation OPTICAL IN connection Y ou can enjoy the sound from your component with a digital optical connection through the speakers of this system. Connect the optical output jack of your component into the OPTICAL IN jacks on the unit.
32 Installation Installation 3 Connecting t o your Home Network This player can be connected to a local area network (LAN) via the LAN por t on the rear panel or the internal wireless module.
33 Installation 3 Installation Wired Network Setup Before setting the wir ed network , you need to connect the broadband internet to your home network . If there is a DHCP ser ver on the local ar ea network (LAN) via wired connection, this player will automatically be allocated an IP address .
34 Installation Installation 3 Wireless Network Connection Another connection option is to use an Access Point or a wir eless router . In the example con guration for wireless connection below , this player would be able to access cont ent from either of the PCs.
35 Installation 3 Installation Wireless Network Setup Before setting the wir eless network , you need to: – connect the broadband internet to the wireless home network. – set the access point or wireless rout er . – note the SSID and security code of the network .
36 Installation Installation 3 [Manual] – Y our access point may not be broadcasting its access point name(SSID). Check your router settings thr ough your computer and either set your rout er to broadcast SSID , or manually enter the access point name(SSID) in [Manual].
37 Installation 3 Installation • Some internet connection operations may not be possible due to certain restrictions set by the Internet ser vice provider (ISP) supplying your broadband Internet connection. • Any fees charged by an ISP including , without limitation, connection charges are your responsibility .
38 Installation Installation 3 USB device connection This player can play movie , music and photo les contained in the USB device. 1. Insert a USB device to the USB por t until it ts into place. USB Connection - 1 2. Select [Movie], [Photo] or [Music] using I / i , and press ENTER ( ).
39 Installation 3 Installation Settings Adjust the Setup Settings Y ou can change the settings of the player in the [Setup] menu. 1. P ress HOME ( ). 2. Use I / i t o select the [Setup] and press ENTER ( ). The [Setup] menu appears. 3. Use U / u t o select a rst setup option, and press i to move t o the second level.
40 Installation Installation 3 Resolution Sets the output resolution of the HDMI video signal. Ref er to page 29 and page 90 for details about the resolution setting. [Auto] If the HDMI OUT jack is connected to T Vs pr oviding display information (EDID), automatically selects the resolution best suited to the connected T V .

42 Installation Installation 3 Connect wireless speakers When the unit is manufactured, the ID is already set. If an inter f erence occurs or you use a new wireless unit, an ID should be set again. When the [ Wireless Speaker Connection Guide] appears, press P AIRING butt on on the subwoofer and the r eceiver .
43 Installation 3 Installation DVD Rating Blocks playback of rated DVD based on their content. (Not all discs are rated .) [Rating 1-8] Rating one (1) has the most restrictions and rating eight (8) is the least restrictive. [Unlock] If you select this, parental control is not active and the disc plays in full.

48 Operation Operation 4 Resume playback BD DVD A VCHD MOVIE ACD MUSIC The unit records the point wher e you pressed the x (STOP) depending on the disc . If “ Xx (Resume Stop)” appears on the screen brie y , press B (PLA Y ) to resume playback (from the scene point).

51 Operation 4 Operation T o delete a Marker 1. P ress SEARCH and the search menu appears on the screen. 2. P ress u to highlight a marker number . Use I / i to select a marked scene that you want to delete. 3. Press CLEAR and the marked scene is erased from the search menu .
