Electrical Safety 9 E N G L I S H Electrical Safety Electrical Data 115V~ 230V~ Power cord may include a current interrupter device. A test and reset button is provided on the plug case. The device should be tested on a periodic basis by first pressing the TEST button and then the RESET button.

Size This room air conditioner is designed f or installation in standard double-hung windo ws with actual opening widths from 22" to 36". The upper and lower windo w sash must open sufficiently to allow a clear ve r tical opening of 13" from the bottom of the upper sash to the window stool.
Clearance Proper clearance enhances the cooling efficiency of the unit and pre v ents heat radiation of the condenser . 1. If a stor m window presents interf erence, f asten a 2" wide wood strip to the inner window sill across the full width of the sill.
Preparation of Chassis 1. Inser t the guide panels into the guides of the air conditioner . F asten the cur tains to the unit with screws (T ype A). : Use a long screwdriv er and installing the scr e ws will be easier. 2. Cut the adhesive-back ed seal strip ( T ype E) to the wind o w width.
Unit Installation Caution: During the following step, hold unit firmly until window sash is lowered to top channel behind side panel frames. Personal injury or property damage may result if unit falls fr om window . 1. Install the air conditioner in the window 1-1.
3-4. F asten the suppo r t b r a c k et ( T ype H) using a screw remo ved from the air conditioner cabinet. Attach the suppo r t b r a ck et ( T ype H) to the inner window sill with a scre w (T ype B). 4. Window installation of r oom air conditioner is now completed.

CA UTION: The Remote Controller will not function pr operly if str ong light strikes the sensor window of the air conditioner or if there are obstacles between the Remote Contr oller and the air conditioner .
Operating Instructions Airflow can be adjusted by changing the direction of the air conditioner's louvers. This can also increase the cooling efficiency of the air conditioner. Adjusting Horizontal Air Flow Direction Adjusting the vertical louvers left and right will change horizontal airflow.
Drain Pipe In humid weather , excess w ater ma y cause the Base P an to ov erflo w . T o drain the w ater , remov e the Dr ain Cap and secure the Drain Pipe to the rear hole of the Base P an. Press the drain pipe into the hole b y pushing down and a wa y from the fins to av oid injury .
Air Filter Check the air filter at least twice a month to see if cleaning is necessary . T rapped par ticles in the filter can build up and b loc k the airflow , reducing cooling capacity and causing an accumulation of frost on the e v aporator . T o clean the air filter : 1.

Preparaci ó n de la Car casa 1. Introduzca los paneles en los gu í as del aire acondicionado . Las cor tinas atorn í llelas con los tor nillos (Tipo A). Use un atornillador largo. As í le ser á m á s f á cil instalar los tor nillos. 2. Co r te la banda adhesi v a ( Tipo E) y col ó quela del ancho de la ventana.
Instalaci ó n de la Unidad Precauti ó n: En las siguientes instrucciones, sostenga la unidad firmemente hasta que la parte corrediza de la ventana descanse sobre la par te superior del canal y por detr á s del marco de los paneles corredizos. Puede haber lesiones o da ñ os si la unidad se cae de la ventana.
3-4. Amarre la escuadra de sopor te (Tipo H) usando un to r nillo que puede sacar del cabinete del aparato de aire acondicionado . Acople la escuadra (Tipo H) a la pa r te inte r ior de la repisa de la ventana con un tornillo (Tipo B). 4. La instalaci ó n del aire acondicionado de ventana no estar á completa.

Filtro de Aire Re vise por lo menos dos veces al mes si no es necesario limpiar el filtro de aire. Las par t í culas detenidad se pueden acumular en el filtro impidiendo el flujo del aire, limitando el rendimiento de enfriamiento y causando la acumulaci ó n de hielo en el e vapor ador .
Como Remover la Parilla Frontal 3. Suelte el lado izquierdo pr imero . Despu é s cuidadosamente hale desde la par te de arr iba y empuje hacia la derecha. Las leng ü etas est á n aseguradas. 1. Tire de la rejilla de ent r ada hacia delante agarrando ambas leng ü etas y tire del filtro del aire hasta sacarlo.
