2 1010 Battery Pack 1. Push the battery latch in the direc tion shown be low; then slide the battery pack out of the s lot. Remov ing and replacing a part (FRU).

5 2. To remove three hooks, insert a (-) type screwdriver into a hook located at the lower end of keyboard, and pull it up. Remov ing and replacing a part (FRU) Não aplique força excessiva, uma leve.

7 1. Pull up the retainer, and rem over the connector using a (-) type screwdriver. 12 1070 Wireless L A N Card 1. Remove two wireless LAN ca rd connector, open card knob to take out the card. Remove the following parts in order before replacing this part Battery Pack (1010) Keyboard.

15 1 1 3. Using a (-) t ype screwdriver from the back of the LCD, pull up the hinge cover with y our finger. The more you move the LCD to the back, the easier the hinge cover w ill pull out. Remove another hinge cover located on the other side . 4. Remove two hinge screws.
16 5. Remove the LCD connector located at the upper end of MCD modem. You will see a t ag designed to make the work easier . Pull out the tag. 6. Remove the LCD cable .
17 7. Hold the LCD with your both hands, and pull it up to re move. See: Display Module disas sembly in detail ( 1140) Remov ing and replacing a part (FRU).

31 2. Disassemble the LCD front. The fr ont hook located on the middle of LCD upper and lower end. Be careful of the direction when removing because it is connected from inside out.
32 3. Remove cable connector. Remo ve the cable that is arr anged around LCD from the LCD frame . Remov ing and replacing a part (FRU).

34 5. Press the hook on the both side of LCD with a (-) ty pe screwdriver and remove from th e LCD rear panel. Remov ing and replacing a part (FRU).
