PowerBook (FireWire) 073-0578 Keyboard Replacement Instructions Be sure to f ollow the instructions in this sheet carefully . 2 - PowerBook (FireWire) Keyboard Removing the Installed K eyboard T o replace the ke yboard in your P o werBook, f ollow these steps: 1 Place your computer on a clean, flat surf ace.

Important: To avoid electrostatic discharge, always ground yourself by touching a metal surface before you touch any parts or install any components inside the computer.

W arning: Ne ver turn on y our computer unless all of its internal and external parts are in place and it is closed.
