3 9. Start compressor: then slowly open dryer inlet valve to pressu rize dryer gradually. 10. Open outlet valve slowly; close by-pass valve. CAUTION!!!! ! MAKE SURE THAT DRYE R IS NOT SUBJECTED TO AIR SURGES WHILE IT IS BEING PRESSURIZED. OPERATION START-UP: Slowly open outlet shutoff valve and then inlet valve.
