Page 3 L301 1C THERMOST A T Cooling Demand The thermostat must be in cool mode in order to properly control the cooling equipment. When in cool mode, if the room tem perature is higher than the temperature setpoint, a cooling demand is detected by the thermostat.
Page 4 506079−01 02/08 Filter Reminder The L301 1C thermostat includes a filter reminder feature. Th e filter reminder can be set for 1, 3, 6, or 12−month inter- vals. The SETTINGS button, located behind the door on th e right−hand side of t he thermostat is used to set the filter reminder interval.
Page 5 L301 1C THERMOST A T Thermostat RESET Under some abnormal conditions, it may be desirable to reset" the thermostat to it s default condition. This can be useful on rare occasions when the the th erm ostat is behav- ing abnormally (e.g. after an electrical storm or power out- age).
Page 6 506079−01 02/08 Power Loss/Recovery Thermostat memory is ret ained for a minimum of 24 hours during a power loss (includes retention of programmed temperature set point, heat/cool and fan mode settings, fil- ter reminder status, and equipment protection timers).
