5 Setting The Time, The First Time IMPORTANT: T he first time you connect your new automat ic time setting clock radio to the AC outlet, t he inte rnal computer will automatically set t he time for the area you live which is t he initial default setting.
6 Summertime and Leap- y ear Adjustments All Da ylig ht Saving and Leap Year adjustment s are made automatically b y the aut omatic t ime setting internal comp uter as follows: • Start of summ ertime: At 1: 59.59 AM on the last S unday of daylight savi ng time, the clock will automat ically advance to 3:00 AM.
7 To check t he Alarm Mode setting f or Alarm 1, pres s the A LARM 1 s etting butt on. The ALARM 1 display will show the Alarm 1 wake up t ime and the day of the week in dicators will s how you the alarm mode which is selected. • If all 7 indicators are ‘On’, the Everyday mode i s selected.
8 Wake To RADIO 1.) Turn t he radio ‘On’ b y press ing the R A DIO ON/OFF bu tton and s elect t he Band, Station, and volume level t hat you wish to hear when the alarm comes on, then turn the radio ‘Off’ again. 2.) Reconf irm th e w ake up time and alarm mod e settings for the alarm you are using, Alarm 1, Alarm 2, or both Alarms.
9 2.) Set the ALARM selec tor switch for one or both alarms t o the BUZZER position. The appropriate A LARM 1 and/ or ALARM 2 disp lay will change from “ OFF ” to the selected wake up time. 3.) At the selected wake up t ime the buzzer will sound. It will begin softly and gradually increase in volume to wake you up.
10 SLEEP To Music Timer You can program the sleep t imer t o play the radio for up to “99” minutes and then s hut off automatical ly. 1.) Press t he SLEEP butt on. The display will briefl y sho w “ L:30 ” and the rad io wil l begin t o play. After 30 minut es the radio will s hut ‘Off’ automat ically.

12 If you do not change the built-in lithium battery within a reasonable period of time after you see the warning indicator, the lithium battery may become exhaust ed and will no lon ger be able to supply back up power to the automatic time s etting s ystem internal co mputer.
