9 InRoom SC 60 H z User Manu al Inst allation Location Requirement s When deciding where to locate the cooling unit, consider cooling needs, air flow , and the location of the el ectrical outlet. The cooling unit can be no more than 2.4 m (8 ft) from the electrical outlet, condenser intake and exhaust access.

The cooling unit should be positioned a minimum of 500 mm (20 in) from any wall; eith er at the back or on the sides. T o manage any excess condensation, a dr ain pan is located in the bottom of the unit. When the drain pan is full, a light will flash on the display and an al arm will sound to alert yo u.
13 InRoom SC 60 H z User Ma nual Continuous draining Note: Continuous drainage is recommended when the unit is used in DR Y mode. Caution: Condensate drainin g is done by gravity . Do not run a drain hose to a drain that is located above the drain po rt of the cooling unit.

The fan speed and temperature are adjusted in Cool mode. Note: The room temperature mu st be higher than the set temperature in order for the cooling mode to start.

W ith the power off and the unit unplugg ed, move the coo ling unit to an appropriate place to drain the drain pan.
21 InRoom SC 60 H z User Ma nual Caster replacement W arning: T ipping the cooling unit can cause damage. 1. Raise the unit levelly at least 406 to 508 mm (16 to 20 in) to access the caster . 2. Remove the two Phillips head screws securing the old caster to the cooling unit.
