3 TO INSTA LL AND REPLACE BATT ERIES IN THE TEMPERATURE SEN SOR The sensor uses 2 x AA,1.5V batteries. To install and replace the batteries, please follow the steps below: 1. Remove the c over. 2. Insert the batteries, observing the correct polarity (see marking inside battery compartment).

7 MONTH SETTING 1. The month digits on LCD2 w ill start flashing. Set the desired month by use of the + key. 2. Press a nd release the SET k ey to m ove to the mod e “Date Setting” . DATE SETTING 1. T he digits for the date will start flashing on LCD2 (Default setting 1).
9 3. U sing other electrical products such a s headphones or sp eakers operating on the same signal frequency (915MHz) may prevent correct signal transmission and reception. 4. N eighbors using electrical dev ices operating on the 915MHz signal frequency can also cause interference.
11 POSITIONING Before permanently mounting ensure that the atom ic clock is able to receiv e WWVB signals from the desired location. Also, extreme and sudde n changes in temperature will de crease the accuracy of the atomic clo ck, and changes in elev ation wi ll result with inaccurate temperatures readings for the next 12 to 24 hours.
13 5) Position the remote temperatur e sensor in the desired location, ensuring that the atomic clock can receive the signal. Note: Mounting with adhesiv e tape is not recommended as a permanent mounting solution. Only use the adhe sive tape during set-up process.
