Alkaline batteries are recommended for use in both units. A v oid using rechargable batteries. NOTE: Do not set the clock until th e outdoor temperature i s displayed. 1. Place batteries in the outdoor tr ansmi tter first, then into the atomic cl ock.

YEAR SETTING The year can be selected sequentially from 2000 to 2049 and w ill then start over again (default setting 2000). Only the last 2 digits of the year w ill be visible on LCD2 . 1. The year digits will start flashing on L CD2. Select the desired year by use of the + key.
